Is there a likely timeframe when CinQo's will be available via official channels outside of the USA/Canada? I am considering a new bike soon, and my wired SRM won't fit/function with a press-fit bottom bracket design which is now common across new high end bikes. So i'm looking into replacement power meters also as part of the budget. I'm not super keen on powertap for my training wheel and then another for my 404's, may as well get an SRM for the price. However a Quarq could be good, but they are just not available in Aus, Officially. I've seen a few around the traps with people saying they have either bought one when they travelled to the USA and brought it back in their luggage, or they have bought them through buyers agents in the USA and had them mailed to them. I remember asking this question via the blog in about 2007 and the response was "soon". I'll be looking to buy in the next 6 months. |

SRAM will distribute their SRAM CinQo in Europe and elsewhere starting in early (likely Jan) 2010. You should contact your SRAM dealer / distributors and get them do get one for you (if they aren't planning to stock them already). Jim |

is this possible too with Rotor 3D cranks? I am from Spain (where Rotor produces). Many thanks. |

The Rotor units are not currently available in Europe, but we are working on it. Jim |

As far as i can see it is only the SRAM S975 crankset - 53/39T which is availbable in Europe. What about us Compact-riders ???? |

@ parawolf Both Monza Imports and Echelon Sports now have the SRAM S975 Quarq cranks available in both standard GXP and BB30 with compact 50/34 or normal 53/39. I ordered one today, BB30 172.5mm cranks, 53/39. |
