Will there be 180mm cranks in the future? |

You can get the Lightning carbon cranks in 180mm (and longer) now. My understanding is that you have to order the cranks directly from Lightning, then ship them to the folks at Quarq for assembly. Great that there are an option. But Lightning doesn't seems to be an option for me. Carbon cranks, doesn't sounds durable to me. Hence I do over 1000km/year. |

Looks like your only choices in an aluminum crank are Cannondale Hollowgram and Rotor Agilis. Not sure if either are offered in 180mm. I know Specialized now offer a 180mm crank as well. Of course it's made of carbon as well so I guess your out of luck. I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of 180mm and longer crank choices as well. Sucks to be an outlier on the ol' bell curve, eh? ;-) Cheers! |
