Existing Cinqos in light of new Quarq announcement

So, any word on updates to the existing firmware or other improvements available to owners of the current S975 in light of the new quarq announcement?

I'm sure it all depends on whether the improvements are entirely hardware-based.. but it would sure be nice to swap rings without sending them in for calibration.

Would expect the left / right could be a firmware issue. The chainrings are more hardware based I'd suspect, and so that's the advantage of paying for the Red stuff.

If I remember correctly, I think there had been some talk of a left / right firmware update down on one of the video clips. So with the new Red, we know it can be done, the question I have is, if this is a firmware issues, will qalvin be updated too so we don't all have to send in the crank for an update.
