Calibrating CinQo with Garmin Head Units

I don't know if all Garmin head units have this option, but my 310XT has a menu option under Power Meters to calibrate. This function is very poorly documented and the manual suggests referring to your Power Meter's instructions on calibrating. When selected, you view a small display that will either show some wattage and say that the unit is calibrated, or show "- - -" and say calibration failed. Either way the unit will continue to record power. Does anyone know how to properly calibrate with the 310xt?

I just uploaded an updated CinQo User Guide: http://www.quarq.com/manuals_downloads

You can find the menu sequence to "calibrate" with the 310xt in it. When you do that, make sure the CinQo is awake first and then place the drive side crank arm in the 6 o'clock position. The cranks should remain stationary while you perform the "calibrate" function.

You're actually zeroing the CinQo and not changing the calibration of it, but that's what Garmin calls it. The value returned is in 1/32 Nm and is typically between +/- 500.
