Previous Generation (Legacy) Power Meters

Revision codes can be found beside the ANT+™ ID on legacy power meters with a CR2032 battery. Descriptions of major revisions are listed below.

AEQ (July 1, 2015)

ANT+™ USB stick included instead of a magnet kit.

AEP (June 17, 2015)

Firmware 24 is installed.

AEI (April 14, 2015)

New battery cover compatible with colored decals.

Power meters from Revision AEI onward have a battery cover that features refined threads and an entirely new external design with gripper knurling and a replaceable decal.

ADX (January 8, 2015)

New battery compartment with refined threads — making it easier to screw and unscrew. Compatible with Quarq’s new colored battery covers.

Power meters from Revision ADX onward use a new battery compartment base and cover with refined threads.

ADM (October 22, 2014)

All power meters now have 10K™ multipoint, active temperature compensation.

Note: The Quarq ELSA RS and SRAM XX1 power meters received 10K from Revision ADI.

ADI (August 13, 2014)

Firmware 23 is installed. All power meters now have AxCad™ accelerometer cadence.
